Full Broken Nail Help

So I noticed this morning that my chameleon has a nail that seems to be broken off, but it is still attached by the skin or something, I dont know wether I need to get the nail off or let it fall off. Also wether I need to get an ointment to prevent infection or something, if so what kind do I need? He doesnt seem to be in pain and hes still acting normal and mean. Lol thanks

Just let it hang and stay dry. Its already dead and scabbing over internally. If you mess with it you could pull off the scab before it seals. If you keep it moist and delicious it wont stay dry. It should fall off in a few days.
