Furcifer campani

Yeah,

They are not easy when it comes to drinking. The need a long rain shower (misting 10-15 minutes twice a day) before they actually start to drink significant amounts to keep themselves hydrated. Eating is no problem, they would eat themselves dead if you would let them :p I hope to get 1 more clutch at least from these animals, because of their short overall estimated lifespan.

WHOA! ive never heard of anyone that keeps these incredible creatures, only myths :D where did you get yours? was it expensive? how do you take care of it? im REALLY interested now :D:D

Every picture seems better than the one before it. I can't beleive how beautiful the are. Could you let us warch them grow up in pictures?? I will probably ever see a live one but would behappy to share yours growing.:)

Thanks! I will look for some pictures of the juvenile when i just got it and make a small comparison with how it is now 3.5 months
later.

Taking care of them is not easy. They are a species that lives up in the hills in Madagascar (Ankaratra Mountains) at elevations of 2000-2500m. So you can imagine they need a good night time drop, but also enough heat during the day.
Another bottleneck is their drinking behaviour. They require a long (10-20mins) misting period several times a day. In my opinion this can hardly be achieved in small enclosures.

best regards

Joery
