I saw the photo from the winner of the Sept photo contest. I have never seen a cham like that. Does anybody sell them?

Depends on were you live. US not that i know of, UK i believe you can find them.

Furcifer minor is not a Panther Chameleon. Panther Chameleons are Furcifer pardalis. Furcifer minor, the Lesser Chameleon, was banned from export in 1995. In that time, they have died out of US collections. They can be found rarely in Europe but they are not available in the US and FL Chams does not have any.

Few clutches hatched during this summer and autumn in Czech republik.
Most leading chameleon breeders around have them now. I hope in 2-3 years they will be well established in hobby in central European countries. What will happen later when inbreeding will start to be problem - we will see.
In principe breeding is similar (inc. difficulity) like by lateralis lateralis.

I don't think that they will reach the level of lateralis. It's right that many Europeans have them now. But only a handfull has enough success with them to establish good CB populations

Always will be much more lateralis around.
Lateralis can be "filled in" from imports. How many lateralis lateralis true CB is possible to see? Very few as minimum here.
Major from Tulear that is another question, there starts to be enough of them but lateralis from central plateau no way. I did not compared but difficulity of incubation. Truth is that effort to breed minor is much larger than breed lateralis lateralis but on contrary there are very limited numbers of mature minor for breeding attempts.

i know someone here in the uk who is trying to work with minors chameleon but cant really get enough info about them, he has a female that is about a year old and a young male. he lost his older male i think
