Took some photos of the willsii today. I also did a weight check and Jane looked so tiny on the scale. Jane is 6g and chong is 10 g

Thank you everyone, out of everyone I own I could stare at these guys for hours. I would love to buy another breeding pair but he will see what the future has.
@ERKleRose I haven’t been successful with eggs yet, my female Jane has only laid one clutch and only One egg is fertilized, even then I don’t think it will hatch, but hopefully this year will bring me eggs

Yes, please! It’ll give you more and hopefully let me have the opportunity to own at least one! ☺
(of course I’d do the proper research and have all husbandry perfected, first)

I have heard rumors Madagascar may open up for a couple exports. Whether that is a Furcifer willsii export who could say.

Best Regards

Chongs cage has an aphid problem so I had to take him out his cage and put him in a temp one till the green lacewings do these good in his cage.

Look how happy he was to see my ugly faceView attachment 289679View attachment 289680

If the Lacewing Larva don't cut it, you can (safely) spray 70% rubbing alcohol mixed with diluted dawn dishsoap on the plant and rinse it really well. I even did this in a bioactive cage... the dishsoap won't damage the CUC much, if at all, but it will knock down the plant pests. Just have to be sure to rinse really well - if you can squirt it off outside, its even better.

Aww thanks for that becuase I think I took to long to move the cage outside and the ahipds made there way to my Hibiscus in Madmartigans cage

If your outside temps allow it, soap and spray em all! I'd be doing that this weekend if it weren't freezing out.
It’s still freezing here as well but for like an hour a day he sun will shine for a little. I’m almost done making the flower box for Madmartigans cage so I’ll be repotting all his plants and spraying them down....again. I’m wondering now if his Hibiscus is what got chongs cage infected

Hibiscus are prone to pests, not sure why they love them so much!
