future new onwer/ seeking placement advice

I wanted to get feedback on where to place my baby's cage once we get him.
We're hopefully getting him next month.
I can rearrange the room to place him where i took pics.
A little about us:
i will finally be getting my veiled for my upcoming bday.
I have an almost 2 yr old daughter and run a small daycare and I teach the kids to be respectful of our other pets. So it should be ok. And I wouldn't let them bang on the cage at all but anywhere in the house they'd be able to see it, since it is pretty small.

Welcome to the forums. This is a great place to learn about chameleons. I would recommend placing your chameleon in a room where the children don't go at least until he settles in and you see what kind of personality he has. Most chameleons are very laid back and little kids darting around could stress him. To much stress will cause sickness and possiably death.

Thanks for the advice ! I'm already getting lots of useful tips from reading posts on here.

How about this space in our room? It has the least traffic during the day so we could put him here while adjusting
