Hey guys so im awaiting my terrirums arrvial and ive gotten all kinds of vines etc to furnish with but i do have a question where should the temp/humididt gauge go in the cage? its 2x2x4 and also what should be healthy readings for theses gauges!? thanks guys nso excited!

I would recommend a digital thermometer/hygrometer combination gauge with a probe so you can move the probe around to get temps at different spots (such as basking spot or bottom of cage).Keep the actual digital readout part of the gauge somewhere the water wont get to it. As far as what your ideal temps are it all depends on the type (and sex) of cham you are getting. Ive got an exo terra digital therm/hygro and it works great.

What ghettomike said haha, the healthy ranges on your gauges all depends on what kind of chameleon you get, for example panthers require a higher temperature than jacksons because jacksons are a mountaine species so require less heat. Once youve got your chameleon i would search and see what everyone else has their basking temperatures at.
