This is a very nice forum that we are also a part of with lots of history in it, however the traffic on it as of late has been really slow with irregular posting.

I'd have to say a leopard gecko, depending on age of child also would determine best age of gecko to have. My 8 year old has 7 leopards (4 of which she has raised since babies).

I've had Bibrons and didn't find them mean but not so much for a child to handle like they can a leo.

But it doesn't feel welcoming one bit. You look on the introduction thread and no one has more than one or two replies. That is Sad, Not very inviting if you ask me.

I might just ask my questions here if anything arises. We seem to have a few Very knowledgeable individuals, who don't mind answering question.

If you wanted a good gecko place try reptileculture.com. Very welcoming people and some really cool gecko breeders. I post a lot of my gecko stuff there. Well and here too.
