George update thread

Rather than make a new thread to update each time I wanna show George off, I'll stick to just this one!
This week we had a power cut which left George in the dark for quite a long while, whilst it was raining and miserable outside, poor guy then sulked for a few days after the power came back on. Today was a nice sunny day so I managed to get him outside and cheer him up a bit, which seemed to work and he popped out his first sperm plug, lovely..
We've also gotten quotes for his big boy cage, so we'll soon be ordering that and moving home! Scary business, Georgie!

I am in love with this set of photographs! Today I took George in the bathroom for a shower for the first time, though he refused to stay anywhere I set up for him and just wanted to run around in the steam. His colours were outstanding! More trips to the bathroom, I think!

All of these photographs were taken while he was roaming around, using his tail, so no, no curling here! He does however curl it up whenever he's resting.

I'm sorry for the poor quality of this picture, taken with my iPhone, but I rarely manage to get photos of him on my hand, as he's grouchy (as you can see!), but he has grown so much! The first photograph is his at around 5 months, and the first day he properly showed off his blue bars, and the second is him today, nearing 7 months! The amount he has changed is obscene!

George's big boy cage is coming at the end of the month, we're having a custom cage built by Muji! Today I went plant shopping, came home with a beautiful Fuchsia in a hanging basket, which I've hung up for him in my window until the cage arrives! He seemed rather happy with his new hang out.

I've had some time off work over the past few weeks, so me and Georgie have bonded! Now whenever I open his cage he runs to meet me and will climb on my hand with no encouragement, he knows I'm the ticket to hang out in windows! Which is what's happening in these photos, he's a bit dull right now because he's coming in for a shed, but he still managed to give me some pretty reds! Also, that is a 10" hanging basket.. He's getting so big!
