George's new abode!

George is finally in his new big boy cage! We had a custom cage made by Chameleonworld Muji, 122cmx79cmx42cm.
There is an umbrella plant, hanging fuchsia and hibiscus, and all natural wood/bamboo. I'll add more pathways later on today once he's a little more settled.

Very nice! :) Do you have a plant light? Especially with the hibiscus you will likely need a couple 6500k tubes for any chance of it thriving. (unless it gets natural sunlight)

George is one spoiled cham! ;)

Why is everything so much nicer across the pond. (Fish and chips, punk rock music, cars, masterpiece theatre, oxford, those insane colored green hillsides, Torchwood, crime movies, alley ways, bobbies, Idris Elba, mini series tv shows, insane diversity of ethnic foods to choose from, BBC...) I could go on all day. :D I do love my country though, just wish we could catch up with the rest of the world.

Looking good! I'm sure he is going to love his new cage.

Thank you! He's settling in now, running around like a mad man!

We have one tube at the moment and his cage is directly opposite an open bay window, lots of natural sunlight during the day!
And yes. Yes he is. :p

Living in Yorkshire, we DO have the best fish and chips! ;)

Yes, you definitely do have the best fish and chips!
Your cage looks amazing and George is going to love clambering about all over the place in it.
Whereabouts do you live in East Yorkshire? I have family in Brough and Skeffling. Just being nosey, sorry!

Right now he's being a bit of a doofus and scuttling around the cage walls, I'm sure he'll settle though!
I live on the east coast, a little town called Withernsea, sorta near Hull.

Like the double door set up, looks great not sure if this makes a huge difference or not and would love to know others thoughts on this. Would a UVB light fixture be better at the full width of the enclosure? For example, our cages at 18" either have a single 18" or a 36" extending across both cages side by side, most of our male cages our 24" wide and we use 24" fixtures. Am going g to unnecessary lengths to accommodate UVB for our indoor enclosures? Think I'm going to post this as a thread.

At the moment I only have the tube which was on his baby boy cage, will be buying one which stretches the full width of the cage an Monday when I can get to the reptile store! :)
