I'm so excited! tonight, i will be getting a 2.5-3 month old panther boy from kaleidoscope chameleons. He will be my first cham. They live near me so i will get to pick him up in person! Both parents were "true-blue" nosy be's. His sire is a True Blue nosy be named bob. Bob is an amazing solid electric blue. Below is a picture of his sire, and him. Do you guys have any recommendations for last minute preparations i need to do?

Congratulations! You've got UV-B, a means of watering him (dripper, mist system and/or hand-held mister), appropriate-sized bugs (probably ~ 1/2 inch/2 week old crickets), supplements? Safe, live plants for him (Pothos, Ficus, Schefflera are all popular ones)? - Sorry to grill you; I see you've been around on the forums for a while and you're probably on top of all these things; if not, ask for clarification. Looks like he should be a winner!

Congrats on the new cham!!
I am sure some of the senior members will have good advice about your enclosure! I know they were awesome at helping me when we got Karma!!

i built a large enclosure and it is too big for now, so the kind breeders at Kaleidoscope Chams are letting me borrow a furnished setup untill he is big enough for the big cage. they reccomend i dont use live plants untill he is ready for the big cage because they are more prone to impactions at this age, and alot of chams will eat soil and plant matter when young. As for food, they will give me some 2wk old crickets to start him off with. So, pothos, schefflera and ficus are the popular ones? I have all 3 in my big cage!

nice nosy be! i think my guys sire is from chroma chameleons but im not too too sure cant wait to commare when they get older :) mine is going on 5 months in may, visit my profile for pics :)

nie cham matt. when my guy is relaxed in his normal color he looks like a big true blue nosy be male, just a tiny version.
