Hey, I'm getting my first chameleon soon, and I was wondering what type to get, and where to get them. I've been doing a lot of research on the subject that last few months, and I think I'm ready for one. I'm pretty sure I want a veiled chameleon, as they are fairly cheap, and are supposed to be a good starter chameleon. Do you know any sites that ship veiled chameleons to Canada? Also, does anyone know any specialty breeders that sell them in Canada? I'd prefer a baby male turquoise veiled, but if nobody knows where to get one of those in Canada for under $200, I'd settle with any old color of veiled. :)

Check out Chameleons Galore. Monika was great in shipping my panther a few months back. She is also in your neck of the woods so shipping would be easier on the cham. Check out her website to see what she has available or email her to ask...I've had a lot of trouble finding breeders in Canada. Chameleon Nation isn't breeding anymore and Chameleons Canada did not have what I was looking for at the time.

Oh and if anyone knows where I can get a Jackson's...it would be much appreciated. :) I'm in Manitoba.

I would also recommend Chameleons Galore. Monika is really knowledgeable and takes great care all of her Chameleons. I bought two Chameleons from her a Veiled(2 years now) and a Ambilobe Panther(Almost 4 months old), i also am getting a Nosey Faly from her in about 2 months. Both Chams were in great shape when i got them and are still doing really well. Depending on where you live in BC you might even be able to pick up, which could save money on shipping.

check out facebook for any breeders in your area, even if they only breed snakes or other reptiles they usually know or have friends who can find you chams. Be very certain of what your ordering online, its easy to tell who the fly by night breeders are. Kijiji is also worth checking out but no guarantees. and ive found when it comes to ordering them, its usually up to what they have, not what your looking for, i dont say that in a bad way, its just mother nature doesnt always give you exactly what your looking for

what about Captive Creations Canada? They seem to have a good collection, but haven't replied to any of my emails...
