hahahahah as a girlscout a few years ago, we only sold cookies. That was it!!! It was a huge competition and I never got a prize They deleted some good cookies, too!! There were ones with lemon powder which were amazing!! And the all abouts, which were shortbread with chocolate on the bottom... I feel like there is a scarce amount of GS in PR at least...

If you love ThinMints, crush them up and use as the base for an ice cream pie - you can top it with CoolWhip. I have my mother to blame for this fantastic idea. You can use the shortbreads instead, but for pure mintyness, that's the way to go.

BUT they do sell out front of the grocery stores... ( and I live in a populated area, so lots of them everywhere)

The best part though, is when your hubby's mom buys you 4 boxes of cookies!


Which is why i was munching on tag alongs for like 2 weeks.

I could eat the whole box at once... but then i feel fat.. and slightly ill.

My friend is a Troop Leader so I'm "in the know" on things....when we were kids, the girls (us) went door to door getting orders and then returned later to deliver them. Now, the troop leader pre-buys a specific number of boxes of certain types and then attempts to sell them. The troop eats the cost of any unsold boxes.

So, you might not be seeing girls coming to your doors because their troop leaders only bought what they thought they could sell in front of the local grocery store.
