THEO555HUGHES, Veileds have an attitude problem.
Jacksons are relatively calm and dont try to eat their owners.

I use a pair of lose fitting leather gloves to handle my female Veiled, but she can still put on a mean clamp right through the glove!

Any chameleon could have a bad temper! My female will hand feed and come right up to the front of her cage-just don't grab her! My male Veiled thinks he is a puppy. Completely easily handled!

I hear so many times about male veileds holding on really tight. My first one did for the first couple of weeks we got him, but once he settled in he was fine, as is my other male. My female, well all she wants me for is food. Whenever i try to pick her up for whatever reason, she tries to jump off my hand, she did the first time. But my other 2 female veileds that have now passed away didn't want anything to do with me either. But neither do my female panthers. But youre right, panther don't have quite the grip of a veiled. But even the veiled isn't anything compared to my mellers. When youre holding her, you know it. Her feet are huge and she is ssoooooo big. She is started to tolerate me, sometimes.lol She was w/c. Why do we do this again? lol We spend all this money, time, energy, to care for these guys, just so they can hate our guts. What is up with that!!!!!
