Chameleon Info:
Veiled, female, few days over 6 months, been in my care since it was 2 months.
Try to handle everyday but she is very aggressive.
Feeding crickets, approx. 12 every other day, occasionally meal worms, and hornworms, fed 10 minutes after morning lights get turned on, also eats the split-leaf plant, feeders get fed a large assortment of food, mostly papaya, dandelion greens, feeder food, and water.
I use Exo-Terra calcium for every feeding, Exo-Terra vitamins once a month, ZooMed Reptivite calcium with D3 once a month.
I use a dripper, she gets misted in the morning after she eats, and again a few minutes before lights out. She does drink.
Fecal varies, sometimes is white/chalky, dark dark brown/hard, or brown and slimy.
No important history.
Cage Info:
Combo cage (glass and screen), currently 48" tall, 24" wide, and 24" long.
One UVB bulb and her daylight basking light, both Exo-terra brand and changed ATLEAST every 6 months. 12 hours of light, the rest "bed time".
Ambient temperature usually around 75 degrees to 80 degrees, overnight usually around 60 degrees, measured by thermometer inside enclosure.
Humidity is 40-50%, twice daily mistings, live plants! monitored by hydrometer inside enclosure.
Using two live plants split leaf and another chameleon safe plant that I cannot think of the name!
Tank is in a very quiet area, near nothing.
I am located in Nova Scotia, Canada.
Current Problem:
Reveen has still not laid any eggs, she is at the age but nothing... I've tried different substrate in the laying bin, upgraded to another bigger bin, moved it to a different spot in the enclosure, kept her covered with a custom curtain for her enclosure, and nothing!
Please help, I'm worried because I just recently lost my other girl Houdini after many expensive vet bills and being fired because I couldn't work because I had to force feed her 3 times a day and give her IVs. I never want to go through that much sadness again!
Here are some pictures of her, one right after another...
