Going on vacation.

Hello Again Everyone,

So here's the scoop, in about 2 or 3 months my boyfriend and myself are going on vacation for a week down to Florida. We will be flying so bring Benzo is not going to be an option sadly.

I have a friend who is a reptile and amphibian enthusiast who would most likely watch him for me. Here's the catch, he lives back in my home town an hour and a half away.

I want to know is it okay to drive Benzo in his cage that distance? I also have a 110 outlet in the truck so I can keep one light on for the ride along with keeping the heat in the truck up.

What do you all think? Any and all feed back would be appreciated.

I would not recommend traveling with him in a cage. Way too many things that could happen hour and a half is not that long for them to be boxed or bagged

By boxed do you mean same type of box they gave me when I bought him? If yes should I put anything in the box to make him more comfortable? Also, he is a very friendly chameleon, could he be held on the ride?

To be honest you can hold them if you want 4 the ride or just the box he came in. I usually box and bag them but I have a few that just come right out and sit there.
