Going out of town Thursday-Sunday (Any feeding ideas?)

As the title says, I'll be leaving town this Thursday, and wanted to know if anyone had any ideas about keeping my cham fed and hydrated while I'm gone. I usually handfeed her crickets and regularly mist her cage, but obviously this wont be possible while Im gone. I've got a homemade dripper made out of a 1-liter coke bottle, don't really know if that will be enough though. I'm all ears.

find a pet sitter u trust.

A pet sitter is always your best bet. This way they can fill the bottle back up with water if needed and throw some more crickets in the enclosure.

Yeah one of the things you need to think about when you buy a cham is "am I gonna have a reliable person taking care of my chams when Im gone?" Really the only other way is if you have an automatic mister, that would take care of the hydrating part obviously. But you still need the feeding part. Possibly cupfeeding?

if there are any reptile shops near yiou ask the if they would take your cham in for the weekend one of my friends does that and its very convienent (or however you spell it haha) plus if you get to become friends with the people who run it they will possibly give you great deals on products via reptiles!! or have a family member friend or neighbor you trust come mist and feed...

Thanks for all the ideas, Nico let me know that he'll take care of my lil Liz while I'm gone for the weekend :) Thanks Nico!

in the future as a general rule of thumb, I'd make it my goal if you don't have someone as nice as nico around to watch your pet, do everything you can to ensure your cham will have a nice environment while you are gone with the goal being his survival.

if he is well fed the first couple days, he'll be fine the next two, he isn't going to die

however a good idea i came across is to get a container or something crickets can hide in and then putting cricket food outside of this container, so they'll have to come out and he'll pick them off when they do....also make sure the container is not clear, you don't want the crix to have any idea whats going on.

and if you can't find a pet sitter, find a friend...and to help your cham out, make the work as easy on them as possible, how hard is it to vaccum out the bottom of the cage and throw a premade cup of crix in?

the dripper is a great idea, just make sure it drips slowly enough to get to that last day, another good idea is to make a dripper going into the dripper lol

I figure it would be pretty easy to go out of town for 7 days if you have a good plan and of course having someone pop in and check on them is always a plus

i know i'm more scared of my house burning down from a basking light that falls and doesn't put itself out...
