Good size tank for 4 young ones?

Hi, I just got a group of R. Brevs .

There are 5, 2 males and 3 females or 2.3. One of the males looks like an adult, all the others are about a half to an inch. A have a tank set up, but I think the 4 are a bit small. Would it be ok to keep the 4 in a medium kritter keeper until they get a bit bigger? The other male is going into the premade tank.

Thank you.

Mine are doing good in their temp tank, but depending on the size of your pygmys ,case jake, and the size of their home, depends. Just don't keep two males together!

Good luck!

No no, haha,

Actually I have a rather large bearded Pygmy , that loved worms, but I limited the worms , the little one was eating a pinhead cricket, which jumped into the mealworms dish.

But, don't worry about him, he is now in a 10 gallon with another female his size, oh and no mealworms for them , yet lol

I would say a medium critter keeper is WAY too small for 5 pygmy ....babies perhaps but since you bought them they must be old enough to sell so (and based on the pic) I'd say its small.

I'd keep 2 adults in a 10 gallon....maybe 3 MAX

No, I wouldn't keep adults in a KK.

They were babies, though, my adults are in 1.1 Exo Terra's.

Thanks for helping though.

If they are less than 3 months old. 4 could be kept in a larger critter keeper, but it seems small for how big they appear. I would try for a 10 gallon until they seem bigger. It needs to be small enough that they can find food and big enough that they have their own space. I would just use your best judgement.
