i was there before the show opened. He did not just get that chameleon. Unless you talked to some one different that just bought it from him at the show.

Different person then ;).. He only had one chameleon. I seen her sitting on the table with a bunch of roaches silks mantis ect.. He really wasnt a vendor selling chameleons.I just noticed a cham in a deli alone and asked about it. You are probably referring to Tony I beleive who sells the veileds and other various chams usually. He had the panthers this month which were from Craig Long out of PA . but they were looking very rough. My first veiled came from Craig Long. Awesome Chameleon picked him up in PA. though from craig. He also had nice looking panthers at that time which were in his care at steele city shows.

Yaaa dude that guy ended up with the little girl. he said he traded it for a corn snake cuz he didnt want whover had it to raise another lizard. That bug selling guy sold me my lobsters is he on this forum, reall skinny guy

roach dusting

Hey all, quick question. Do roaches get dusted at the same rate as crickets? I just started using roaches, one of my fellas absolutely loves them and when I present crickets and roaches in the same cup, he goes exclusively for the roaches now. My other fella doesn't even look at the roaches. He's so picky he's gotten to the point where he doesn't want to cup feed either like he used to, he wants them dumped so that he can chase them. Quite the little predator he is.

Try using a three foot (or so) section of a thin wodden dowel rod. I use one to hand-feed. Set the roach on it, point the end of the rod near your picky cham, and make the roach "walk the plank" towards your cham. I like this method because the roach will continue down the dowel, usually on its own or you can tap it on its backside to get it moving towards your cham. This also allows some extra distance between you and your cham, making them less nervous about you being so close, like if you were to use feeding tongs. This will keep your dubia moving, and give you some control over having to free range your roaches and risk escapes.
