http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rs_ME4Np4Ck check out goonie eating and his lil freerange setup! lemme know whats missing or what could be improved!
im planning on adding a ficus! and i was gunn build him a feeder tub but hes such a fatty he would never leave it so i decided against it!
oh and me and the gf caught him drinking :D so im not worried about him using his dripper anymore :D

you can take a horse to water but you cant make him drink.

i think the best way is to maintain it to one spot where it hits alot of branches. i experimented alot with my position and i think if its constantly in the same place... they will understand it.

but thats just my thought. ive only owned a chameleon for a month so maybe a more experienced keeper will chime in

I honestly can't be bothered to watch a video to determine if your set up is correct. Many people won't bother unless you offer real textual information.

I agree that having a regular place for the dripper is going to help. Maybe if you spray around the dripper instead of where ever he happens to be?

if you dont want to bother watching a 40 second video that will give you 1000 times as much information about HOW my setup IS setup and WHAT it has in it and all its positioning relative to each other... go be sour somewhere else.

oh and thanks for the advice guys i have it in the same place, and i found he doesnt like to drink it where it first splashes down, he likes to drink it from deep inside where its collecting on a stem :D

It may be 40 seconds long but that doesn't mean it only takes 40 seconds to load.
Unfortunately I don't always have access to super fast internet like everyone else does, and when I do it's only for a day or two.
As you can see you haven't gotten very many replies....

Another option is taking pictures just like everyone else does and posting what is necessary here, not what is necessary plus 20 other things.

I admit I could have worded my post better, but calling me sour... the phrase two wrongs don't make a right comes to mind.

Goonie looks healthy and I see no signs of him hating you. :) I also think he is 4-5 month old. Not sure how you would free range like that and drip, maybe just several good mistings a day where he hangs out so he can drink off of the plants?

Sabrina seriously. What's with the attitude of late? Can you honestly say that all your threads are 'necessary'?
I have not mentioned the necessity of anything, rather the difficulty in loading videos. I'm sure some would agree. Thanks.

you said that i have a ratio of 20 unnecessary comments to one?
i just re read every single comment i have made, all ive done is try to help others by passing on info for others, and tryna find out stuff to take care of my baby better.
im not angry or anything its just ive done nothing but be nice and help others and try to take care of my baby, dont say its unnecessary please

I watched the video and I liked it! I also free range and I think that your free range looks good. The only thing I would suggest is to put some wider branches higher and closer to your lights so that your cham can have more variety in temp changes.

thanks jaxy! im planning on getting a ficus to slap right under neath of it so he can get as close as is safe and as far as he likes :D glad you liked the video :D

Please link me to where I said that. I'd like to apologize if I did, but I really don't recall saying that.

Any who, the dripper idea works great. The bigger the reservoir, the better.. saves time and effort... but you need to watch for any sort of buildup in the water.

cough cough.... ughmm yeah please dont gimme apologies you dont mean

Setup looks cool. If you mist and he drinks I wouldn't even worry about a dripper unless you weren't going to be home.

I'm trying to be mature and offer an apology, yet this is the reply I get?

Ryan, this thread is full of DOUBLE UNPOSSIBLE WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
