First off I'm a total Cham newbie any info would be appriciated. Any way bought the whole set up at the show. Screen cage, clap light with 40W bulb, light fixture with the uv bulb, small dripper, and a ficus. Brought him home on Sunday. Went to the pet store and got him some small meal worms and crickets. Day one he ate like a pig. Probubley 10 small worms and no crickets, Monday he ate about 5 worms no crickets. Hasn't eaten again since. The guy at the store gave us crickets that were way too big come to find out after reading these forums. We dumped all the crickets in with him which I have read is wrong as well. When I checked on him this morning the crickets were pestering him. Took all the crickets out and replaced them with five appropriate sized crickets. Hasn't eaten in two days now. Anything to worry about? He also threw up or pooped out a hugh ball of grinded up meal worms. Was drinking really well the first couple days as well but haven't caught him drinking since. I have also put him out in the sun for about three hours each day. Is it better to leave him inside or take him out for some sun each day. The guy at the show said they love to be outside. We've also misted him about three times a day. He doesn't seem to like that too much. Thanks

Meal worms are a crappy feeder, and he probably did throw up. He will take a few days to adjust so don't worry too much about him not eating. Jax like cooler temps and higher humidity. Keep misting(hot water comes out a warm mist) and make sure your cage temp is low 70's with a basking spot of low 80's. Try a few crickets everyday, he will eat when he is comfortable.

Mealworm color. So we should stick with crickets. Will take temps when I get home to make sure they are right. Thanks for the help. No more mealworms.
Basking is about 82 and the cage is at about 72. Need to get a humidity gauge this weekend. Have been misting him three times a day at least. Got him some wax worms as well. Hasn't eaten since Tue. How long is too long without food? He seems real healthy roams all over his cage. Oh and he dropped a huge meal worm deuce. Hopefully those are now out of his system and he'll start eating.

Very nice!I think he needs to get those worms out of his system then he will eat. I would remove the crickets daily to see and replace with fresh gut loaded crickets.
He may be stressed out by the crickets.
Oh , My Jacksons LOVE LOVE , superworms and silk worms.
Superworms are ok and a great source of food if gut loaded.
