Got my "Nameless" BOY! Omg so cute.

Ok so even though we got some nasty weather here in NY, and Fedex was delayed a couple hours, he still arrived safe and sound! I, however, risked my life to get him

So far I havent chosen a name but I know its going to be one of the dwarves from the Hobbit, probably Kili or Fili.

As you may or may not know this is a Komeleons baby and one of the babies of Ollie (BB Ambilobe). I don't know what Sang does over there but he takes great care of his guys. An hour after letting him into his new home he was drinking, eating, hanging upside down snatching crickets like whoa.

Oh also I need to give serious props to Komeleons, PangeaReptile and Aquazamp. I made my purchases through them and I couldnt have been happier. My Raindome is amazing!, it did however scare the hell out of me the first time it went off automatically lol.

Anyway here are a couple pics I snapped while he was exploring his new home, you can see him on top of the screen climbing which is quite normal but it scares the hell out of me because I don't want him to fall.

Right now hes still sleepin like a cutie, lights on at 6am though so he should be up soon. I tried to find him while he was sleeping but I really made the cage so damn hard to see into with all those plants!

I'm just so glad hes eating/drinking out of the box. You always come to this forum and sometimes see horror stories about that, so its glad to get that out of the way.

Lastly, you cant really see in the pics because he was still stressed out and pretty dark but when he was chilling by himself right before bed last night I peaked in and saw his nice blue cheeks and what looks to be (and soon to be) red all over his body. He's gonna be a sexy beast.

Don't be too upset if he doesn't eat today (or you don't see him eat) My was fine on day one but then on day two wasn't about to eat in front of me- I think mine was just getting used to his new digs and was more interested in figuring out where to hide from me. I think if they eat right out of the box though they are more likely to settle in quicker.
He's very sexy - they are so fun when they are young and every shed brings new colors.

He may not dangle from the ceiling as much if you add more branches higher up. He may be wanting to bask under the UVB or heat more but since he has no closer alternative he just hangs from the ceiling.

Lol yea, me and my father stole my moms AWD SUV to go pick him up and while we were on I-84 they ended up closing the road.

Hes eating and drinking just fine, he ate all but a couple of the 10 crickets I put in today, I'm still trying to figure out the perfect raindome schedule just so I don't overdo it. Right now I'm doing 1 minute mistings/raindrops every 2 hours so that the cage dries in between.

I held him for the first time today and he was fine, of course he tried to run but once I got him out he was fine, wasnt dark or stressed, just kept trying to climb everything.

As for him climbing the ceiling, I didn't want to add too many branches up high because it probably gets hot up there, but I'm going to go down in wattage so that up high it doesnt get too hot for him.
