Grabbing for air!

Does anyones Chameleon grab for air instead of what is actually in front of them?? Is this an eyesight problem or just a chamy thing?

Does anyones Chameleon grab for air instead of what is actually in front of them?? Is this an eyesight problem or just a chamy thing?

Mine grabs at the air when he tries to turn a different direction or doesn't realize that there's nothing there. He will look backwards and realize that he should stop grabbing nothing though. Mine does this only sometimes.

My boy does it when he doesn't want to be misted. It freaks me out!

My 2 panthers do this sometimes. Usually when i am holding them and they think they can grab onto my face even though it's too far.

If my memory serves me correctly, when he was younger he didnt seem to flail around so much in the air. He looks like a blind man searching for his stick!!
