I had my first attempt at breeding on Thursday I wasn’t able to see whether or not they actually were successful because they were at the back of the cage. Well last night I came home when our colors were completely different and this morning they remained that way. I made a post on the carpet Chameleon Facebook page and Frank said she was gravid! I’m very excited she is going to have eggs soon. I don’t know if they will be fertile or not so I’m not getting my hopes up about babies plus this is my first time trying to incubate eggs if they are fertile so I’m just going to take it one step at the time, ask questions, re read and re listen to franks podcasts about carpets. I’m going to follow his advice about lay bin and was nice enough to go over my plan for when she starts showing signs of being ready to lay. I’m just so excited. We had lost our first female Carpet Chameleon and I thought that I won’t get to have this experience. I will keep everyone posted!
