gravid female veiled

Hello everyone, my female veiled chameleons is gravid, i came home tonight and she was asleep in her bowl that catches the water from her dripper, i keep it empty but it had about a millimeter of water in the corner and she was sleeping in it. I REALLY THOUGHT SHE WAS DEAD it scared me. i woke her up and she fine and sitting on her branch like nothing happened. has anyone elses chameleons done this or is there a reason for her to be in water or a sign of being egg bound

she bred with my male richter on march 4 the and has had a laying bin with 12''washed play sand. this is her 4th clutch the first 3 not fertal.


She is in a 36x18x18 screen cage
she is 2 1/2 yrs old
iv had her since she was 4 or 5 months
her basking spot stays at 85
she has a dripper and i mist once a day but alot
she has a huge umbrella tree
i give multi vite 2 mondays a month and d3 the other 2
calcium everyday
a reptisun 5.0

any advice would be greatly appreciated

also i gut load feeders with blended romain lettuce a little carrot orange apple wheat or oat bran
 
It normally takes around 30 days for them to lay after breeding. Keep the sand in the laying bin the correct moisture so that it will hold a tunnel and not cave in on her. I normally dig a start hole for my girls and they often use it. Be sure to give her plenty of privacy. The very best of luck with her.
