Gravid or Shedding?

I have this female Rosita chameleon she breed with my male a month ago, she started to dig for holes 2 days ago but now she is shedding, she big fat and had dark colors as she was gravid, is it normal she shed while being gravid or was she just the colors of gravid because she starting to grow?

Her shedding as she is about to lay eggs is just a coincidence I am pretty sure. Nothing out of the ordinary. She would not turn a different color pattern because she was about to shed.

well she was black and she was puffed up like she was building up eggs, she started to do dig holes because I saw her half way in a hole she made and then she stopped for a while and and her color is like dark dark brown in between with black. she started to shed today.

This my first time have a female Chameleon so I am knew to the female experience of her.

The one she was dark, she was like that for 3 weeks half until today she is a little light color

Yeah it could happen she's ready to lay eggs. And the time she's ready to shed. Probably just coincidental. The sum of Mine go really dark when they are about to lay.... digging holes is a sure sign of that

And it's usually about 30 to 45 days after breeding that's thay start looking for a place to lay

okay so I will give Rosita a week or 2 of privacy. I wasn't to sure shedding would interfere with her laying eggs.

Now just make sure she's eating drinking a lot and privacy. Sometimes I eat all the way up till they lay eggs. Sometimes they'll slow down right before they lay eggs hope this helps you or someone else will help you with information
