Green Substance coming out of chameleon

Yeah I needa get him back on the crickets I was feeding him I had a money problem recently and wasn’t able to have him food for a couple days is which is why he’s soo skinny but those crickets helped keep his weight up and it was beautiful, you couldn’t see any bones what soo ever
Get some dubia or discoid roaches and start a colony. You’ll never be without feeders again. Much cleaner than crickets too and no noise. Neither dubia nor discoid fly and if put in a bin with smooth sides, can’t climb.

That was... intense. I'm very glad this resolved on its own. And it's good that everyone reading & responding learned something (or a few 'somethings') today. I know I did.

I'm curious what was the species & source of this hornworm?
There are about 1200 species worldwide, and 120 species in North America.

From the pics, I'm not seeing any artificial plant. 🤷‍♂️ To me it looked like a worm that somehow went down whole (head first) rather than being chewed up, so it's basically the intact outside skin/husk.

I agree with everyone that a vet visit & establishing a relationship would be prudent & wise.
