Gretchen's Eggs Need to Get Out Already

Small to small/medium horns would be ok. I would not give her one on the large side. I usually use silks and crickets. I watered my girls two to three times a day by slowly dripping the water from the dropper on their nose. If she doesn’t start drinking, give her a Cricket and start slowly dripping her nose and mouth as she chews and that should get her going.

We are officially one day until the 2 week point and Gretchen is doing great! She's as feisty as ever, appetite is excellent and she's even gained some weight back since surgery! Thank you so much to everyone here and your words of encouragement and support <3

I would be getting a new vet. Those eggs weren't anywhere near ready to be laid. They have zero calcium and are just round yolks. The vet should have picked up on that with the xray.

There was a reason she wasn't responding to oxytocin.....

I hope your girl makes it. Glad she is at the two week mark.

Did he remove the ovaries as well? Some vets remove the oviducts but not the ovaries....
