Hi everyone i have a baby veiled chameleon and i got him in October and he was about 2 months and it is April and he is only seven inches i was just wondering if the cold weather affected the growth i live in the northeast. He doesnt look like he has mbd he climbs perfectly thank you to all who can anwser this ?.

THE IDEA OF CAPTIVITY IS SO THEY DO NOT have to endure our climate. sorry for the capitals caps lock lol. but they artificial lighting and climate we provide should be thae same or very simalar to there home lands. I guess the answer your are seeking is climate will keep them from eating asmuch and in turn grow slower the temps should not be cool for him they should be the same all the time day one temp and night about 10 degrees cooler. hope this helps.
