So, one of my males, Gumbo, has been getting the breeding bug bad. He has been stomping all around his enclosure restless. Today I thought I would introduce him to a female to see his reactions. I really want to use him as a breeder because he is a blue morph like Naga. Beautiful animal.
Well, he went straight into mode doing everything he could to catch the attention of the female. Flapping, flaring, shaking the branches, rotating on the branch. The female basically just looked at him like he was stupid. She eventually got aggravated by his advances and moved to the other side of her enclosure. Needless to say, he didn't exactly impress her, but I am glad to see he has the fire to breed. I think once I get another 100 grams on him, the females will pay more attention to my poor little Gumbo.
