i had to idea to use left over raw food from my work and turn it into cricket food. the mix consist of but isn't limited to...

beef(not ground beef)
eggs
yeast
spring mix
carrots
snow peas
apples
bread
dried cranberries
pumpkin seeds
sesame seeds
ginger
cantaloupe
garlic
broccoli

all this is blended up into a past and poured over a plastic grid like an ice tray and is frozen to make nice little squares.

any thoughts and concerns are greatly appreciated

hey

i would remove the beef, to much animal protiens and easy on the egg, same deal and alot of vit a
just my 2 cents

dont use or very much limit use of:

egg, meat --possibly more than you'd want in fats and fat soluable vitamins (D, A) especially if you are using a supplement dusting powder that also contains these
broccolli --goiterogenic compounds and oxalic acid
ginger --Oxalic Acid
Garlic --oxalic acids
probably best to go easy on the bread too, depending on type of bread and to what extent you are compensating for the phosphorous in the grains
sesame seeds are good, but go easy on them too -- again Oxalic acid

oxalic acid can bind chemically with certain minerals in the body, and interfere with the absorption of minerals such as calcium, potassium and magnesium. Can cause formation of oxalate crystals which are bad for gout, arthritis and kidney.
