It does mist and rain now

I'm having a hard time seeing in the video but does the mist just go straight down in to the cage and then the overspray collects on the acrylic and drips/rains in to the cage? Really neat idea and I like how it turned out, just trying to make sure I'm understanding how it works in case I need to steal your idea in the future lol.

It looks like the acrylic is just a way to keep it from overspraying. The rain nozzles do the same thing, the water pools on the screen and drips, but can also cause overspray on the lights and such. This would be a good way to keep it focused into the cage.

Yes sir. That is exactly right. This way I can keep the water where I want it. Flash absolutely loves it. He starts bobbing his head and heading to his drinking spot as soon as he hears it fire up.

Gotcha, I've always had my nozzles go through the screen and didn't realize the screen collected the water enough to create rain drops. Pretty neat idea I might have to try to make something similar when I move Thor in to his bigger cage. I've had a few basking bulbs explode due to overspray landing on them (cold water and hot glass don't go together well) and have just been using the Zoo Med splash proof bulbs to prevent it from happening again.
