Hamburg Show in PA

Has anyone gone to this show? Is it worth it? It's in driving distance for me and I was at the Reading show which was like a roughed out flea market. I'll still make the drive to White Plains in NY come January however.:D

It is a great show (one of the biggest on the east coast), they hold it bi-monthly for the most part. The winter shows tend to not be as good but is always worth it. I try to go to at least 2 or 3 times a year.

I've heard that too. After the reading show I was at, anything has to be better. Have you ever gone to the one at the Phili Expo center?

Agreed! I try to make it 2 to 3 times a year as well, it could be in a better facility but its one of the coolest shows ive ever been too. Huge variety and I have seen some really nice Chams there as well.

Do you know which vendors to look for that have the Chams at the Hamburg show? The reason I drive to White Plains is solely to check out what Vince and Farrah have from Screameleons and every now and again you find someone scattered throughout the show who has some.

ive never been to the one in hamburg, but a friend of mine told me it was worth checking out. ive been to the one in oaks several times and it was cool, but kinda small and disappointing, especially if you're there for chams. mostly snakes (although the venomous ones are cool to look at) they had a few chams scattered about, but none that were housed properly and looked healthy :(

I've been told to go to the Oaks but I guess I won't waste my time and small and full of snakes is how the Reading show was. I'm supposed to be working this weekend but I may ahem somewhow *cough* fall ill with something *sneeze*....

hahahaha yea unfortunately oaks isn't really that big of a show. i get all excited, get up early, take the 45 min drive out there and!!!......get disappointed by the lack of chams :( still a good place to grab some cheap stuff. got some silks n horns there last time. still found it difficult to spend more than an hour browsing the same stuff over n over lol. someone had a bin full of veileds, and another guy had a small screen cage with a male n female jacksons but like i said before, they didn't look too hot. lotsa snakes n bearded dragons
