hand misting

hey everyone. i'm fairly new to owning a chameleon, i just got him a few days ago, and i have been hand misting him. I just want to know if i am doing it right. i spray all the leaves when i wake up, after i get home from school, and before i go to bed. Reading some things on the forums, i tried to spray my chameleon, but he didn't like it, so i backed off. i haven't seen him drink the water that collects on the leaves, so i'm not really sure if he's drinking. Would it be smarter to get a dripper? i have only heard of one, and the reviews aren't too great. i would be thankful for some advice, thanks.

If you have some cash to spend an automatic mister is the way to go. At first I was hand misting but you can't always be there to do it and you can program the mister how often and how long you want it to go on for.

Go mistking if you can, handmisting works though if you're willing to do it a lot. Spray about 5min 3x a day or more.

i will try to save up for a automatic mister, but for now do you think it's fine to hand mist?

I think so if you're home a lot. The key is to just be consistent. A lot of people might not be home a during the day so in that case a mistking would be a necessity. I took a lot of my classes online so i was home most of the time and my girlfriend lives with me, so we were able to handmist with no issue.
