Handling??

So I’ve had my Chameleon for two weeks now and he seems to be very comfortable already. He eats out of my hand every day with no problem. I have not handled him yet but want to be able to in order to clean his enclosure, take him to the vet, etc. what would be the best way to go about this now?

Also another question, I posted pictures of “him” in my last post and people said they weren’t sure but that he might be a female. I was told he was a male. Anyways, I will observe some more but since he (or she) is around 6 months, when should I know for sure to be able to set up a spot for an egg bin?
