My cham has started to climb on the 'mesh' at the top of the cage and spends quite a while up there sometimes..... How is she supposed to eat if she just stays up there for so long.
Her temps are mid 70 - 80.

Is that the temperature at the basking spot? I'm wondering if she's not a bit cool and trying to get closer to the warm bulb.

I'd make sure basking spot is 90-93 but not so close It burns. Up the bulb wattage If It has to be to close to get it that hot. If she's hot she can move away but if shes cold theres only so much it can do

Thanks
Here is a picture, also mouth open

Oh he's much younger than I thought I should of asked 80 with a max of 90 at this age is right. And youngins don't thermoregulate very well cause they haven't figured it out yet so they open there mouths to cool. I also have notice youngins like climbing on screen. Maybe periodically move him away gently and If he continues to go to the same spot up the heat just a tiny bit. But It may just be a nervous thinks its a good hiding spot thing. Given the age
