I went to the Doncaster Reptile Show yesterday with the intention of just buying a few bits and pieces for the vivs but left with these. :) The pics aren't great but I will take some more soon.

Wow they look great! Spectacular specimens!! Good find! And don't we always come home with much more than we planned to as shows!

Do you know where I could obtain these?

They are C. Hoehnelii, and this guy is actually selling babies here: http://market.kingsnake.com/detail.php?cat=52&de=870312

I was actually thinking about getting some of these guys soon.

That female looks gorgeous. Do you know if these are wc's or cb/ch? They look fantastic if they are wc's. Look as good as a pr of cb's which you dont see to often in the states. I know you guys in europe have more keepers focusing on these guys than we do.

Thank you. The guy I bought them off knew their approx age so I just presumed cb. Luckily I got his email address so I am going to email him and ask a few questions as it was a bit difficult to understand him. They came from Germany.

They are very cool, I love the colour they have, :)And they are not something you see alot of, good luck with them:)

I'm pretty new to the chameleon scene, so therefore I only know about keeping jacksons, panthers, and veiled chameleons. What is the temperment of these chameleons, what are the locales, and what made you come away with them??

Thank you. :)

Nice looking Hoes, looks like my baby will have the same yellow head your male has.

Thanks, it was the male that caught my eye first with his colours.

I am very new to keeping these too so I don't know about the temperament except that they couldn't wait to get out of the tubs they were in onto my hand lol but now they are a bit nervous of me. I only got them on Sunday so time will tell. I had only seen these on the internet and I was quite fascinated with them but didn't really think much more about it as I have enough reptiles ..... until I saw them. I thought they were stunning and their size also appealed to me as I am running out of room lol.

they are ch texas from tiki tiki they have had a clutch up for sale for a while mbondy just bought one from them. tiki tiki are good people to work with and they frequent this site alot so if you go through them thats a good choice!!!

Actually they are CBB.......this is a live bearing species and the ones tiki has were bred in captivity

great animals your male is very beautifull
what s spot lights do you use ?

Thanks. :) Actually those photos were taken under a household bulb as I had to order a proper basking lamp for them (which they now have). They seem to be quite photogenic. They are cb and originated from Germany.

do you house the male/female together? im wondering becuz iv got one aswell and if i could give her a girlfriend that'd be so cute. do these species like eachother?
