I couldn't believe how receptive he was to the hat. He actually made it quite simple, he would just close his eyes and keep walking forward putting it on himself. I actually look giddy (and I was) because I was just so shocked at how awesome it went. Sulley kicks ass, chameleons never cease to amaze me!

My girlfriend found it on a pen (a flamingo christmas pen to be exact) and I just ripped it off and stuck a bread twist tie through it. Simple really.

The only reason I did this was because I promised my girlfriend that I would do a Christmas card this year and it just ain't a family without Sulley.

Just to clear the air, it's the first time I have ever done it. Like I said, he did it with no problems. If he would have shown the slightest bit of a problem I would've removed it and left him alone. As far as handling goes, I maybe handle him once a month and most of the time I just use a branch.
