to my grandfather R.I.P. that has been in numerous wars, to my uncle who from numerous wars to the pentagon are both my memorial day heroes.
AS WELL AS THE REST OF ALL SERVICEMEN AND WOMEN.
every other day of the year I stop and take the time to thank these people for there services, whether they are 75 or 25.

Isn't that usually for St Patrick's Day?

This is my first Memorial Day, we had a picnic at school on Saturday evening with a DJ, and there's a carnival thing at school today, but we walked a local gorge instead, so pretty shattered and chilling at home.

Memorial Day is so much more fun than the British Remembrance Sunday, it's so nice to feel patriotic and grateful instead of sombre.
