Happy or not?

We are a recent owners of a new panther. We got him last Wednesday and he has been eating, cup feeding and hunting like a champ, drinking, (haven't found poop yet) and exploring the cage real well. He has been an array of colors from feeding time to basking time. I know they are supposed to get dark when they basking, but it seems he is more often darker then a lighter color. The pic is the color he seems to turn the most. Is this something I need to be concerned about or Is he just trying to get warm consistently?

he looks fine to me. He may be a little stressed out but that is normal. Environment changes are hard on chams.

and yes he might be trying to get warm most of the time because its winter but it should be fine. As long as your temps are good, its just a little expected stress
