Harry potter vs link!

i assume you people are nerds like me. tell me tell me, who and why?!

who would win?

ITS OBVIOUS! but i know how fan girls are.

and this is not a Daryl Dixon debate. so calm your lady parts...

WHO IS MORE epic.

say who and why. make sure you have a valid perspective, if you know nothing of harry potter or of the zelda series leave your opinion out because i expect some serious debate.
 
Link, no doubt!!

I havent played Zelda since the N64 days. Majoras Mask and Ocarina of Time. I have only seen a few of the Harry Potters too. Old GF made me watch them of course.

Here is why I think. Besides being able to obtain lots more powers, weapons and magic, Link has many more regular enemies to beat along with many more "bosses" to beat in each game/quest. Harry Potter is just full of drama and talk before he finally fights one battle. Link would run circles around Harry Potter.
 
I agree. although I will admit I do not know as much about zelda, but I do know harry potter is just a school boy who isn't even a "wizard" yet. AND harry has a LOT of help from his friends and teachers. So hes not as big and bad as everyone thinks.

ive read 2 harry potters, i was forced into reading the last one second so no reason to read the rest. and ive seen all the movies. i like the harry potter in my head much more than daniel radcliff.

zelda on the other hand im a huge fan of.

my intent with this debate was to find someone more schooled than me on the potter and knows just as much about zelda as me.

even in choosing a specific link from any given game i still find it difficult to conceive potter ever beating link. even kid link form wind waker. MAYBE link from minish cap (he could always just get stepped on)

anyone else think school busses are yellow? becuase if you do youre wrong. ever try to color in a school bus with a yellow crayon? it dosnt look right you need marigold or something like that. yellow + red = orange no matter how small of a ratio of red its still orange. <==thats another retarded debate i have with my gf
 
This is perfect timing. I JUST busted out my N64 on Wednesday and have been tearing Ocarina of Time up! Spirit temple in like three days, haha.

Needless to say I'm slightly biased. But I'd put my money on Link every time. Harry's got magic, but he's really an amateur when it comes down to it. And Link, well let's be honest the "Hero of Time" sounds a heck of a lot cooler than "the boy who lived"
 
Link. always loved that game :rolleyes: harry potter doesnt have a cool horse and cant call him. also doesnt have a fairy. :D plus he doesnt go back and forth thru time whenever he wants and doesnt have as cool a sword ect. I liked Harry potter ok and the movies were decent. books were better. I think some Books on Zelda would be cool.

Harry has the time turner for traveling at least to the past! And the sword of Godric Gryffindor! Not arguing that Link would destroy him. Just saying :)

i know that. thats why i said anytime he wants. becuz that abilitiy wasnt his its the girls. he cant do that actually. they only did it once anyways. the sword of gryffindor is nothing compared to links stuff, just has a "cool" name
 
I always wondered everytime I saw your name, DekuScrub, if you were a Zelda fan. Clearly you are!

I've read the entire potter series and watched all the movies ... As far as my 'Zelda career', I've played through Link to the past, Half of Majoras mask (hated it), Ocarina of time about 20 times, Twilight princess and currently playing through the newest one.

I would go with Link, solely on the fact that he kicks Ganon(dorf)s ass all the time. He's got fruity magical powers ... and they never measure up. Link always finds a way. He's got to be some kind of superhuman ... being able to put up with Navi's constant whining "HEY! LISTEN!" crap.:rolleyes:

i wish i could have made a break down for link and potter like i just did with godzilla vs kong.

i just dont know enough about potter to make any for of viable composition of weaponry or items to make a balanced fight (link just happens to be badass)

like if we could give link and potter 3 items and a primary weapon. this would help. for instance we could give link, obviously, as his primary weapon the master sword. and potter his wand. and then for the 3 secondary items link needs his bow, id pick the bunny hood and either dins fire or the mirror sheid. i could give him the magic sheild but thats way over powered....or the lense of truth to negate the effects of the cloak. potter gets the sorting hat so that he can summon the sword of gryphondor. invisibility cloak and ummmm im not gonna go with a broom cause then id have to give him epona or his bird....

see this is why im having trouble making this a seriosu debate. idk enough about the harry potter universe to try balancing items. and i realize the wand is much more versitile than the sword so that almost compensates but still. i was just hoping more of you were dorks or harry potter nerds.
 
Harry is an emo chump... Link would whoop his ass anyday (even as mini-Link in Minish Cap). I've seen all the movies and stopped reading the books after the first two. I didn't enjoy the books or the movies (seen all of them) nearly as much as the time spent playing Zelda video games (beaten all of them). Harry Potter really can't compare to the epicness that is Link and all of the things that come with the Zelda series. Harry who?
 
You can't pit good guys against each other. Come on. But, Harry Potter if he used the killing curse. lol.

ahahahah! okay okay i give up on this, too bad link was the obvious winner from the start one but seriously if i was link and needed 2 choose 3 items other than my gear it would be bunny hood, bow and probabaly dual hookshot so i can pretend to be spiderman
