Hatching Zebra Silkworms

Hey all,

When the silkworm eggs are laid on paper, do they have to be removed? Or is it cool if I leave them on? What is the best way to hatch them? They're stuck on the paper, and all of them are purple. Just took them out of the fridge several days ago. They've been chilling in there for a good month.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated,
