Hates being misted?

Great question! I was thinking that my poor Shayna was really overacting. She leans and sways and squinches her eyes shut. She seems a bit smug when she's hidden in the middle of her ficus and I can't get her wet.

I'm getting a Monsoon for her. I'm tired of being the bad guy with the mist bottle.

I know this sounds like a silly question, but are we misting primarily to get them to drink, or primarily to raise humidity?

Tyg

save your self money, time, and a huge head ache by just getting the mistking from here..same price shipped as a monsoon, but INCREDIBLY out performs the crappy monsoon system..:D

Okay you guys were right!

I used this deli cup with poked holes in it that the store gave me and filled it was nice warm water instead of room temp, and he actually sat under it instead of running away and closed his eyes which looked like he enjoyed it. I then filled the water bottle with the warm water and misted the cage and him and he stayed put. AMAZING! Lol.

Too funny...A few cents for a deli cup...Problem solved!!!!
I've been using the "deli cup" method for years..The animals prefer the rain for drinking the water running off the leaves..But I still mist them, by hand, to up the humidity and to help with shedding!!! Also you can move your cage around without having to mess with your misting lines!!!! IMO.......
