Have A Day Hawk

Thank you. You should be equally proud of Hawk. He looks awesome!!
That I am. Hawk and I both appreciate your kind words :).

And just curious what kind of barring is your Ambilobe, Chance right, supposed to be? All I see is a couple half bars green and the rest is red.

His sire is a blue bar, his mother's sire is a red bar. He shows both at different times, guess whatever mood he is in. When he is really fired up all the green goes orange . Check my recent thread for larger photos of him.

hes a handsome veiled! Liked the story too poor little guy. glad he finally got to hang out a bit. (even if he didnt look relaxed) lol:D
Oh tell me about it. He wouldn't settle down the whole time he was on the grapevine, and even when I brought him in he was having issues. When I put him in his cage he was, from what I could tell, pouting lol. He spent like ten minutes staying in one spot and it took him the better part of half an hour to move 12" upwards because he would stay in onle place for several minutes. Even when he got in his usual spot he looked so depressed :(

He's beautiful! He may have been puffing up because he saw birds. Some chameleons are incredibly diligent about watching for birds.

Thanks, and that would explain his continual puffing up but there were no birds around except vultures off in the distance, or anything else moving around that could have upset him. He was just really upset with how his day was going I guess :p

Wow he is just awesome! Look at those colors!
Thanks, and those pics do not completely do him justice. In person, when he was on the grapevine, he looked way more yellow-er lol, and was just glowing, and I do mean glowing. He literally looked like a neon glow stick at night :D

awesome

man hes awesome lookig, just got my 1st 7mth old veilled hope he turns out as good lookin as hawk.my little guy is just brown at the moment hopin he settles in is new enviroment ok.

The vultures could have done it. They can be weary of birds even when they are really, really far away.

Yes that could have done it, but there is something that I forgot about: the camera! I know that he hates my camera, I was trying to take pics of him shooting crickets earlier from a distance off, with the camera almost completely concealed and as soon as he scoped it out he was puffin up. And yesterday he had a visual on the camera the entire time. So I am certain now that that is what it.

awesome colours!
is his head transbald? or :p?
I don't think so lol. Unless Fl Chams sent me the wrong Veiled or if his sire or dam had some translucent genes running in them that they were unaware of :D. But I doubt either scenario and just think that Hawk is growing into some great colors :)
