With a grown or mostly grown chameleon I agree.I would stop feeding supers until he starts eating normally again.
Is that so?If you stop feeding him super worms and feed him other bugs he will eat them.
Appropriate analogy seems to be in contact with me that that is what Candy.Superworms are like candy. Gotta give them sparingly. Your Cham might go on a hunger strike for them but eventually he'll start eating the other buggos.
Thank you so much for the good information. You can try weaning him off the superworms with giant mealworms, but neither is really very good as a staple feeder.

It's hard, but I'll give it a try.I would stop feeding supers until he starts eating normally again.
Thank you.Super worms are actually a good feeder for chameleons, although variety is best. I once had a Nosy Be that only ate supers for about two years and he was only fed three time a week and was always offered other feeders first. Eventually, on his own he started eating silkworms, hornworm and then crickets and even Phoenix worms.
Thank you.My chameleon got hooked on super worms and what I did was I put one super worms with a whole bunch other bugs and she would get the other bugs and now she loves Dubia roaches.
Maybe peanut m&ms?Appropriate analogy seems to be in contact with me that that is what Candy.
Exactly what else have you provided/tried?I've provided many kinds of food available, but he only eats superworm.
Buggos? Do you call the little ones buggers?Superworms are like candy. Gotta give them sparingly. Your Cham might go on a hunger strike for them but eventually he'll start eating the other buggos.
I will start now!! I call all dogs puppers
