He was such a good boy!

I'm such a proud mama today. A friend who was giving me dubias wanted to meet Russell. So I took him to meet their sons who were 8 and 10 years old. They each got to hold him and Russell was such a good boy! He's never been around children. Needless to say, I think it tired him out. He fell asleep on the ride home.

It is wonderful for kids to learn first hand about chameleons. If your boy was ok with it that is good. He sure in a nice looking guy.

I run a daycare in my home and have two children of my own, all of our reptiles have been handled right from the first day, always with supervision, some of the daycare are better with the look and don't touch approach but it isn't because of the lizard more the kids!!!

I bet those boys loved that and that was probably the first time they have ever gotten to hold a chameleon, a great way to educate....you should be proud of your beautiful boy.

Thank you everyone.

The boys were so excited. They took pictures to show their friends. It was hard for them to keep their arm still but they did really well. They wanted to see him eat but Russell was being shy .
