healthiness

Could anybody tell me what to look for to see if a chameleon is healthy or behaviors that can indicate good health in a veiled female?

I already know that not sleeping or closing eyes during the day is good, having no swelling of the joints and no bone curvature, having a strong grip, holding their body up and not laying it down most of the time, having a clean mouth free of excess mucous or bubbles, not grabbing their face or missing the branch they try to grab, having white urate and brown firm fecal matter with some mucous coating it, not sitting with their mouth open (except sometimes while basking), not "sneezing", not having sunken eyes, looking around and being alert of their surroundings, having no lesions sores or bumps on the skin or mouth, reacting to things like your hand with hissing or a flare up of the colors/beard (which isn't always good for us lol) well those are the things I can think of off the top of my head. Any input on this would be a great help

well thats pretty much the general to look for. if you are still unsure, a post a pic of your cham and the forums can tell you if she is healthy or not, and maybe if a vet check is in order.

if you plan to get a cham , alays look around the eyes or alertness, nothing closed or swollen, look at the limbs and check if does not look "skinny", like very boney.

goodluck:)

I do check the poop and it looks normal. I plan on taking my cham to the vet when the weather is good enough just to see if everything is lookin good and to check for parasites ect.
