Heat lamp(s)

Do you guys use multiple heat lamps for different areas of your enclosures to keep your temps up and differing? Or just one? Also what wattage do you guys recommend? Just feel like with a higher wattage your basking branch could be lower thus limiting the room in your enclosure.

This is hard to accomplish in the typical 24x24x48 enclosure that is recommended. I personally use 2 lamps during the day, one ceramic and one asking bulb. This is to keep the heat up at night as the basement get too cold for a panther chameleon. Now if you have a wider enclosure say a 48" wide enclosure I would consider one warm basking spot and one slightly warmer. Typically most setup i have seen use one basking bulb and one UVB bulb.

Ok thanks! I was just curious because most of my 48x24x24 enclosure is about 62-75 degrees while the basking is 88
