Heating a Reptibreeze XL

So, I'm in the process of setting up my XL Reptibreeze into which I plan on putting my almost 6 month male veiled. Up to now he's been in a medium sized Reptibreeze with a large Lucky Reptile Thermo Socket reflector on top with a 60W bulb (for basking) and a 25W heat cable, which I had wrapped around various branches in the enclosure. I live in the north of France and we don't have the luxury of high temperatures and frequent sunny weather (honestly, it's pretty grim, the national stereotype for where I live is that it rains incessantly, which isn't far from the truth).

So, in light of this, what's probably the best way to go about heating the new, XL enclosure, should I continue using the heat cable combined with a decent wattage bulb seeing as how well it's worked so far?

I live in the mountains so its not too warm here either. My 2yr old veiled is in am XL RB. To keep the basking temp up I have a double dome with 2 100w bulbs. (One basking one regular) and a 24" uvb.
That seems to keep a nice temp up top for him
