Height

I've been doing research for a few weeks now and was going to get a panther but I've decided Pygmy's are better for my situation.

Regarding the enclosure, is height important? Specifically, would it be better to get the ExoTerra 36" x 18" x 18" (WxDxH) terrarium, or the taller 34" x 18" x 24" (WxDxH)?

In this size enclosure, I believe 1.5 would be OK right? There would be enough room for them?

That Chameleonnews link was really good.

Thanks

Yeah I'm running an 18"18"24" Exo Terra with the mesh screen for my pygmy and he's been doing fine. I did get the Rainforest Habitat Kit, so it came with the stuff they felt were good like some vines and stuff, so I'd look into getting some vines for above ground "freeways."

I'd go with the longer, as opposed to the taller. Where are you getting your pygmies from? What kind?

18x18x24

I've reduced my size expectation and will probably go with the 18X18X24. I want some room left over a possible Dart Frog enclosure. Since I have the Mistking mister, I figure I might as well make full use of it.

Would a trio (1.2) be ok for 18X18X24? I prefer an active setup if possible.

Lisa, there are 2 places I am hoping to get the pygmy's; the Mississagua reptile show in April, or from a local breeder which I came across on Kijiji:

Thanks! I'll have to check out what people are bringing to the show. Maybe I can get something shipped beforehand.

oops, forgot to answer "yes" to the trio in that size of enclosure . Good luck, I'm sure you'll enjoy them. Pygmies are a blast!
