Ok so Im sure everything is fine, but Im such a worry wort lol...

So for like a month and a half Loki slept in the same spot in his cage every night....he would go and get himself tucked into the plants out of sight and always the same spot.

Now for the last week or so he has been sleeping at the very top front corner of his cage right in plain sight....

Normal???? Im hoping it means he is comfortable enough with us to sleep in the open......any comments are welcomed!!!

Lol, there is nothing wrong with being cautious. My veiled was very similar. He always hid in heavy leaves while he slept at night for a couple of weeks. Around the same time he really started exploring his enclosure (it's huge) he started sleeping more in the open. Now he just sleeps wherever he happens to be when the lights go out. I wouldn't worry about it. I'd say it's a good thing. I think it just comes along with their comfort level

I'm just so paranoid...I'm trying not to be but he is my first reptile ever and I am just amazed at how attached I am to him....

I got all proud of him this morning because he is shedding for the second time since I got him lol...I got it bad lol

That's too funny, my girlfriend and I are the same way. Ours is actually going through his second shed since we got him today also. Happy shed day, lol. I post about him on Facebook the same way all my friends post about their kids, haha.

my veiled is a weirdo . He sleeps on the top of the screen cage upside down like spiderman. My other boy just curls up wherever he wants on the vines/leaves

Haha, mine also sleeps clinging upside-down to the top of the cage occasionally... I always feel the need to check on him throughout the night when he does.

Well apparently it was short lived lol.....cause last night he was back in his usual favourite sleep space.
